I found that ASK Tutorial combined with google didn't really have much for rap vocals and a general standard eq or chain of things you should do when recording on top of a instrumental mp3. So I decided to record another project and mix, this time it turned out okay, but I still wanted to improve my EQ skills and generla mixing and mastering skills on Cubase.
#Cubase 5 tutorial mixing pro
Whilst I did everything the tutorials said I still wasn't happy with how my tracks were sounding, compared to pro rappers and pro tracks I heard or even local studios I had nowhere near the same sound.I thought maybe I am kidding myself that a £400 mic could do this.but then I was told online I wasn't.so I went out and got ASK Video Cubase 5 Level 1 tutorial.although I gained valid experience around Cubase 5 from the program it didnt help me fantasticly so I thought I'd buy Cubase 5 Level 2.after finally it arrived I watched it and thought it had helped me expand my knowledge further.

So I decided that maybe rather than experimenting I'd a youtube search for tutorials. But since the others have disappointed me and not turned out to be what I'm happy with. I've spent the last 8 months experimenting recording numerous songs and 1's turned out fantastic which was a vocal recording on top of a instrumental mp3. So far everything's been great with the mic, but the problem I'm having is getting a sound I'm happy with. After looking around on the internet and seeking advice I purchase the SE Electronics X1 Mic Bundle with the focus sapphire 6. My situation is as follows, basically I got Cubase 5 last year and then soon after decided to buy a mic. Hi guys I'm pretty new to the forum but after a google search and seeing the kind of community you have here I thought I joined.
